At present, Philippine is become tough since its government received the support from the United States. Their foreign minister doesn’t give up to his idea which hopes to send the disputes in South China Sea to the United Nations even China already refused this proposal.
And the foreign minister of Philippine expressed that China’s standpoint is untenable and might not accord to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
The expert in Nanjing University pointed that Philippine has no rights to force China sent the issues to the UN and even the United States or Japan will not accept this kind of proposal in China’s shoes. China has the reservations to the pact.
