US Reopens 18 Missions: The Fake “War on Terror” Finds Justification to Attack Everybody Everywhere?

Eighteen of the 19 United States embassies and consulates that were closed in the Middle East and Africa because of a terrorist threat will reopen today, the State Department said.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki did not cite a reason for the decision to reopen the 18 missions.

Well, one reason could be that there never was a threat, and that the US is just staging “orange alerts” all over the world to remind people that the fake war on terror is really a real war on terror.

Of course, this all contradicts Obama’s recent proclamation that al-Qaida was now just “a shadow of its former self”, but on Friday the President explained that in his earlier comments he was referring to “core al-Qaida” and that “what I said was that al-Qaida and other extremists have “metastasized into regional groups” that can pose significant dangers”.

So, perpetual war for perpetual peace.

We can attack and destroy al-Qaida, but then the little remaining bits will recombine and “metastasise” into multiple new threats, and then we can have more enemies and more wars and can eventually find justification to attack everybody everywhere.

You may not have noticed that last month the US made a show of closing down some consulates in China because they had (apparently) received envelopes which appeared to contain “a white powder”.

Unfortunately, all subsequent news was suppressed, especially the hoped-for explanation about how those envelopes could have been hand-delivered deep into a secure facility without being intercepted.

It was just a cheap anthrax-type scare, trying to export the US war on terror to China, and this wasn’t the first time.

The few recent bomb scares in China had NED fingerprints all over them; I hope somebody tried to go past the obvious and search out the source of incitement for those events.
