The dead vendor is not a veteran

Deng Qiguo, a street vendor who was beaten to death by a city administration official, was said to be a veteran and had three children.

However, Deng’s uncle Deng Yungao said that Deng Qiguo was just an ordinary villager, and he was born in 1959, but hadn’t been married until now.

According Deng’s uncle, Deng had been injured his right leg in a coal mine accident in 1993, and then made amputation.
