China refused to send the dispute of South China Sea to the United Nations and will negotiate directly with the related countries

The Philippine Foreign Minister stated about the issues of South China Sea again in July 11. The Statement pointed that the Philippine government plan to send the disputes in the South China Sea to UN for arbitration.

But the China’s reply stated by Hong Lei the spokesman was that China would like to negotiate directly with the related countries to solve the disputes according to the International Law which generally recognized.

The Philippine Foreign Minister suggested in July 8 when he was visiting in China that Philippine hopes UN to solve the disputes in an international platform. He suggested resorting the disputes to the international arbitration. Philippine will defend for themselves according to the “United Convention on the Law of the Sea”. He thought China would not change the standpoint and insist to negotiate bilaterally.
