Cab drivers on strike over cost, traffic jams in China tourist city

More than 1,000 disgruntled taxicab drivers stopped work in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou Monday morning, complaining about gas price hikes and worsening traffic jams.

Local police and traffic authorities staff have been dispatched to maintain order and talk to the taxicab drivers over their complaints.
