What if America loses its Ukraine gamble

The truth about Malaysian Airlines is starting to leak out: No sign of a missile anywhere. No blast damage to the plane, no missile fragments on the ground, no answers to Russia’s 10 questions.

What if Europe discovers it’s too integrated with Russia to disengage, and simply drops the sanctions — as three EU countries have already requested.

Russia has only scratched the sanction surface.

The airline sanctions will either shut European airlines out of Asia, their only profitable, growing market, or cost them billions they can ill afford.

Next, the energy sanctions. Exxon has just started production from a field ‘as big as the Gulf of Mexico’.

Russia can justly require its EU customers to pay in gold or non-dollar currencies adding a “Ukrainian refugee surcharge” of 1% to every therm they deliver.

Meanwhile…

The EU and US economies are on life support. Even Germany’s contracted in Q2.

Ukraine has run out of money

Ukraine will start stealing European gas (lots of it: they’re.very wasteful) in a few weeks. Since the EU now owns the Ukraine, it will have to pay for its gas — one way or the other.

Despite their government’s propaganda the Ukraine army is not winning.

The rebels have destroyed half the Government’s armor and its infantry can no longer mount offensive operations.

Technically that’s a defeat, or at least a stalemate.

Morale in the govt military is abysmal.

The evidence points to cannon fire from a government fighter.

If Malaysia goes public with that evidence it will be worse than WMD for our wretched media and the remaining credibility of our governments.

Remember, we’re now post-Wikileaks and post-Snowden.

China is in this fight with both feet.

They’re under attack, too, but have plenty of time, money, brains and resources to devote to Russia’s survival.

Their attack on NATO’s eastern flank (peeling Turkey away from the alliance) is brilliant.

If it succeeds and the Ukraine gamble fails then NATO will resemble the Warsaw Pact alliance.

China can and does offer more and better quality ‘bribes’ to any country than can the USA.

Or if it wants to exert pressure, China can discourage tourism to Europe ‘until it’s safe again’.

Perfectly rational, perfectly devastating.

Meanwhile, Latin America, India, and Africa are all on board with the new alliance and its strong central socialist government model.

  1. Not everyone in Australia is behind the US, our weak governments have no moral courage, next China will sanction us and the dream goes down the drain right behind that theocracy known as America.
