The US-NATO-Saudi-Jordan Intelligence Coordinate Major Arms Delivery to Syria

Western-Gulf Intelligence Coordinate Major Arms Delivery to Syria

A major weapons delivery from Saudi Arabia has recently been provided for armed terrorist groups in southern Syria. The Syrian “opposition”, as well as Western diplomatic and intelligence sources admitted, that the weapons delivery via Saudi Arabia has taken place in direct coordination with U.S. Intelligence.

The Reuters news agency disseminates information that lends apparent legitimacy to the illegal arms deliveries. The US, Saudi and Jordanian political and military leadership is, according to international law, directly responsible for crimes committed in Syria.

The arms deliveries reportedly included sophisticated Konkurs anti-tank missiles. The Reuters news agency has quoted a source within the Western-backed ” Supreme Military Council” as saying, that the armed groups have begun using the anti-tank missiles, which they recently acquired from Saudi Arabia.

The missiles have been smuggled into Syria via Jordan, where US Special Forces are training insurgents near al-Mafraq. Jordan has agreed to the smuggling of the missiles after weeks of quiet Saudi pressure, reports Reuters.

Jordanian officials have informed Reuters privately, that they are caught between appeasing Saudi Arabia and the danger of reprisals by Syria. Earlier this year, Syria´s President al-Assad has warned Jordan that it was playing with fire if it supported the rebels.

The source noted, that Saudi Arabia is pressuring Amman so as to“open a supply route that helps tilt the balance in our favor”.

Earlier this year, prominent Jordanian officials and intellectuals complained over the increased presence of US forces, who are cooperating with insurgents in Jordan. In July, the head of the al-Kudsk Center for Political Studies, Oraib Rintavi stated in an interview with AFP:

“The Jordanians do not feel comfortable with the presence of U.S. troops and their weapons in the country. For the common people of Jordan, the U.S. military presence is associated with a conspiracy against Jordan´s neighbors. . . Society does not welcome Americans here, even if they say that they want to protect our country”.

Also in July, the Deputy Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Khalil Atiya expressed his concerns about the increased presence of U.S. Troops in Jordan, saying:

” As deputies, representing the Jordanian people, we do not accept the United States or any other country´s troops in Jordan. Jordanians do not think that Syria could pose a threat”.

International Smuggling Routes

International Smuggling Routes

The smuggling of Saudi arms deliveries to the insurgents via Jordan may have become necessary, when the administration of Iraq´s Prime Minister Nouri al-Malaki increased border security at the Saudi – Iraqi border, after Saudi Arabia re-opened old smuggling routes in the Anbar province.

The actual decision to put an end to the use of the smuggling routes was made, after Saudi Arabia substantially increased its support of al-Qaeda in Iraq, to carry out operations to destabilize the al-Maliki administration and the country. Until then, the smuggling route functioned primarily as a channel for smuggling a large number of weapons via Iraq to Syria.

Diplomatic sources as well as armed groups are citing the direct involvement of Prince Salman bin Sultan in supplying the new arms deliveries through Jordan. Prince Salman bin Sultan is a nephew of Saudi Arabia´s King Abdullah and a senior official within the ruling Saudi elite.

Reuters reports, that Prince Salman bin Sultan is heading a joint, allied operations room in the Jordanian capital Amman, where the allies of the anti-Syrian alliance regularly meet with top-operatives of the so-called Syrian opposition.

Reuters sources have stressed, that “even before the first shipment of the Konkurs anti-tank missiles, the pressure of Prince Salman on Amman has secured the supply of rocket launchers and other lethal equipment”.

The new Saudi supplies have reportedly stepped-up the arms supply, since the “rebels” previously complained that arms shipments primarily consisted of surplus ammunition and rudimentary AK-47 rifles.

According to Reuters, the new arms shipment followed close cooperation and coordination between Saudi – Jordanian and US – American Intelligence Services, reportedly, to vet the recipients and to keep them out of the hands of “Islamist Fighters”.

Limited Self-Hang-Out as Disinformation. Analysts consider the latter statement, that the Intelligence Services vet the recipients and track the weapons to keep them out of the hands of Islamists, as willingly disseminated disinformation, most likely with Reuters, an agency with close ties to Israel and Zionist organizations, being a participant in disseminating the disinformation.

One of the primary reasons to seriously doubt the purported “vetting to avoid that the advanced anti-tank missiles fall into the hands of Islamists” is that Saudi Arabia itself was the first country to deploy al-Qaeda brigades to Syria. Already in October 2011, Russian and Syrian intelligence services had intercepted internet chatter, according to which Saudi Arabia had deployed al-Qaeda´s “Omar Brigade” to Syria. Al-Qaeda´s Omar Brigade consists of assassination experts and experts in special operations, and the brigade is, according to reliable intelligence sources known to nsnbc, under direct control of Saudi Arabia´s Interior Ministry.

The second reason why the purported vetting procedure by US, Saudi and Jordanian Intelligence Services is likely to be disinformation, disseminated via Reuters, is that the primary combat brigades in Syria, since the decisive defeat of the Free Syrian Army in June and July 2012 have consisted of Salafist or Wahhabi extremist groups.

The development was, documented in an nsnbc article under the title Washington´s Salafist Quagmire” and documented in a detailed report issued by the International Crisis Group under the title “Tentative Jihad”.

That situation has since then evolved to a state of affairs where the primary combat operations are being carried out by the al-Qaeda associated “Jabhat al-Nusrah”, the al-Qaeda associated “The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham”, and a cohort of other al-Qaeda associated brigades.

Although the so-called Free Syrian Army still nominally exists, its military significance is negligible to such a degree, that it is regularly being defeated in battles with Saudi-backed al-Qaeda brigades.

Reports, disseminated by Reuters, a news agency, which is known for pro-Israel biased reporting and ties to the Rothchild family, according to which Saudi Arabia´s drive to arm rebels with advanced weapons and to break the stalemate on the ground “was prompted by fear of a Jihadist enclave emerging unless more effective aid was given to bolster the moderate armed opposition who so far still dominate in southern Syria”  is not only mis- but direct dis-information, which is contradicting an abundance of evidence to the contrary.

Arms Pipeline

The only logical reason for the dissemination of the disinformation would be the attempt to provide apparent legitimacy to the illegal state-sponsorship of terrorism. International experts have repeatedly stressed, that all arms deliveries to the insurgents in Syria, regardless whether they belong to the one or the other brigade within the plethora of foreign-backed mercenary brigades constitute violations of international law, including the Mercenary Convention to which Saudi Arabia is a signatory.

Moreover, according to international law, the political and military leadership of the United States, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, as well as any other of the countries involved in the unconventional war on Syria, are directly accountable for all of the war crimes, including the use of chemical weapons by insurgents or the summary execution of children, as in the recent execution of two, no more than 13-year-old boys in Aleppo by The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham.

The fact was eloquently expressed by Russia´s permanent representative to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, in February 2013, who said, “the US-announcement not to arm the opposition in Syria does not absolve the USA from its full responsibility for what is taking place in Syria or the practices of the opposition.”
