The reporter got the information from the Finance Division in Foreign Affairs Ministry that they will not open the details of public funds they spend last year. It means the Foreign Ministry will become the only ministry in central government which not public the expenses.
The reason the Foreign Ministry gave was that the expense involve in the national security.
Every ministry in central government should public their expenses in public funds according to the Budget Law Implementation Regulations but will disobey with the Secrecy Law. Therefore, the ministry is consulting to the related department to find a way to handle this problem.
