Ilan Pappe: “In Gaza now, it’s worse than ethnic cleansing”
“I think it would be written as the beginning of the end of the Zionist project,” says Israeli historian and professor Ilan Pappé.
Pappe said Israel’s current war on Gaza may be “the darkest moment in the history of Palestine, but it was the darkness before the dawn”
He added that “the beginning of an end of projects such as Zionism is the most dangerous chapter in the history of a place. When the regime or project fights for its existence”.
