Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway equipment failed

Monday morning, Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway’ equipment sudden failed between Shanghai to Nanxiang, causing G7363, D5401 and other five different trains behind the schedule. G7003 train stopped near Huaqiao up to half an hour.

A netizen, named “辣笔小球” on the Weibo, posted that “G7003 stopped about twenty minutes for no reason in the Shanghai-Nanjing line”. He also said that G7003’ parking was non-normal stop, and the train crew said that the train cannot receive the signals, “in the carriage, a child was scared to cry, and a middle-aged woman have a sudden headache. But no staffs appease the passengers during twenty minutes. The radio confirmed signal failure at twenty-seven minute”. Meanwhile, a passenger tried to break the window but was blocked by the crew.

Shanghai railway bureau responded that G7003 did appear to delay. It must punctuality arrive at Shanghai station at 9:27, but the actual time was 10:01, about half an hour late. The cause was due to a little failure of the equipments.

It is understood that there were several delayed trains from Wenzhou to Shanghai at Wenzhou satiation. The rail authorities explained it was caused by temporary equipment maintenance.
