Israel’s ISIL Threatens Russia and China

The scourge known as the «Islamic» State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) and the Islamic State (IS), has long been in the making: in the think tanks and military planning offices of Israel. The plan to have a group like ISIL rend apart the Arab nation-states of the Middle East is enshrined in two Israeli policies: «A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties» written in 1982 by former Israeli Foreign Ministry official Oded Yinon and «A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm», largely written American neo-conservative war hawk Richard Perle for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and issued in 1996. The latter report included contributions from Perle’s fellow Israeli agents-of-influence who have migrated in and out of sensitive United States government positions: Douglas Feith and David and Meyrav Wurmser.

ISIL: From Decapitation to Islamophobia

With the ISIL terrorists mounting more gory adventurism in Syria and Iraq and capturing villages and towns, there seems to be no tangible impediment to stop this influx of terror. The ghastly images circulated freely…

Israeli Perception and Reality…

In my last column, I discussed Benjamin Netanyahu’s proclivity to deceive, cheat and lie. During my research, however, I came across an article by Israeli journalist Amira Hass, who had a different take on the…

Bombing & Fighting ISIL in Iraq & Syria: Smokescreen for Another US War in ME

The March to War: Fighting ISIL is a Smokescreen for US Mobilization against Syria, Iran The ISIL or IS threat is a smokescreen. The strength of the ISIL has deliberately been inflated to get public support for the Pentagon and to justify the illegal bombing of Syria. It has also been used to justify the mobilization of what is looking more and more like a large-scale US-led military buildup in the Middle East. The firepower and military assets being committed go beyond what is needed for merely fighting the ISIL death squads. While the US has assured its citizens and the world that troops will not be sent on the ground, this is very unlikely. In the first instance, it is unlikely because boots on the ground are needed to monitor and select targets. Moreover, Washington sees the campaign against the ISIL fighters as something that will take years.

Obama Furious Because Putin Won't Return His Calls: Disrespected, Why?

In what he called “a provocative and defiant act,” President Obama charged on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin has started letting his calls go directly to voice mail. Speaking at the White House before this week’s NATO summit, a visibly furious Obama said that Putin’s new practice of letting his calls go straight to voice mail “hampers our ability to discuss the future of Ukraine and other important issues going forward.” Having left dozens of voice mails for the Russian President, Obama said that he tried to reach him via e-mail on Monday night but received an out-of-office auto reply. “Given what he has been up to in Ukraine over the past few weeks, I find it impossible believe he has been out of the office,” Obama said. The President hinted that Putin’s failure to respond to his voice mails could result in additional sanctions and signaled that he did not intend to call the Russian President again. “I have left my last voice mail for him,” he said, adding that the last time he called Putin his mailbox was full.
