New Zealand worries about China will control the Pacific countries by the soft loans

BBC broadcasted in July 14, said the foreign minister of New Zealand expressed his worry for the Chinese aids and appealed China to stop supplying soft loans to the Pacific countries and change them to free aids.

He said the soft loans will tighten the finance of those countries, and might cause the debt crisis. He suggest that China should offer the money to those countries to let they know the debt levels.

Lowy Institute, a think tank, reported at present that China became the biggest country who provides soft loans to the Pacific countries. The report think China will increase its affection in the area by this way, and will have great power to control the countries who cannot settle the debt.
