Transcript:

In this framework and through this occasion, and in the context of all that was put forward in the past weeks and recent months, I would like to reiterate, concerning the issue of the resistance and the Israeli issue, and the talk of a war, dangers, threats, risks, the seizing of opportunities, and the like, this resistance will remain firm.

It is now firm, and it will remain firm and towering, defending its nation and people, and it will safeguard all the previous achievements, including the rules of engagement, resulting from the April Agreement in 1996, up until the gains of the July War.

Thanks to (this) deterrence power, our villages will remain safe, our fields will always be cultivated, and our flags will always flutter.

I assure you that there is no reason to worry at all regarding this issue.

And as for the Israeli calculations, if there is someone who is trying to intimidate the country, as a result of the fighting in Syria, that some of the people in this axis are busy fighting in Syria, and that this might open the doors and horizons before the Israelis in order to settle old scores with Lebanon, or to launch a war on Lebanon.

These calculations are not correct.

When the Israelis (consider whether to launch) a war, there are several calculations which they must take into consideration.

And all of these calculations now do not lead them to the option of war.

And one of the most important calculations is that the Israelis know very well that this resistance is powerful, and that it has become even more powerful.

Now from the outside, some would tell us (look), martyrs are falling here and there, you’re being drained.

This has always been the case for the resistance, and the resistance would grow stronger with time, with sacrifices, and with giving.

This is not an element of weakness.

In some aspects it is an element of strength.

Today from the town of Ainata – from the liberated borderline, near the border of the dear occupied Palestine – I wish to confirm to you: today the resistance is not only strong, rather, compared to its state in July 2006, the resistance is stronger and more capable on all levels, whether human-wise, materialistically, militarily, and the capability to confront, and the readiness to produce a victory, God willing.

We…do not want war, nor do we seek war, and as a resistance, our strategy is not open war, and this is well known.

However, should any of these Zionists think of waging a war on Lebanon, (and) if there is any concern within a particular heart, mind, house, or village, regarding the fate (of Lebanon), I assert to you that the issue is not as such.

And unfortunately, the enemy knows more than the Lebanese about the extent of the development of the capabilities and power of the resistance on more than one level, and the enemy takes this into its calculations.
