Chinese president appoints four new ambassadors

Chinese President Hu Jintao has appointed four new ambassadors to foreign countries and an international organization in line with a decision of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC).

Yang Houlan was appointed ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal,replacing Qiu Guohong.

Gao Kexiang was appointed ambassador to the Republic of Angola,replacing Zhang Bolun.

Huang Yong was appointed ambassador to the Republic of the Fiji Islands, replacing Han Zhiqiang.

Cheng Jingye was appointed ambassador to Permanent Mission of the People’s Republic of China to the United Nations and other international organizations in Vienna, replacing Hu Xiaodi.
