50,000 yuan of management fee is proper: China Charity Federation

On August 17, China Charity Federation respond on additional donation for invoice that the invoice issued to Suntech complied with the requirements of China Charity Federation. 50,000 yuan of management fees is reasonable and legitimate, which isn’t the hidden rule.

According to China Charity Federation, China Charity Federation confirmed the donation to Luo Fanhua on behalf of the sponsor of China Youth Creative Contest because of donated documents, a receipt for donations of contractor as well as certificates of materials on April 15. And then China Charity Federation issued 15 million of invoice to Suntech, which is in line with the relevant provision of national invoice management. Consensus with the organizer, the donated company donated additional 50,000 yuan to China Charity Federation as working expense on April 28, which was transfer into administrative account of China Charity Federation.

Previously, Liu Guolin, the secretary of China Charity Federation, said on CCTV interview, “China Charity Federation is very different form Red Cross. China Charity Federation never extracts the management fees.”

However, China Charity Federation, in a statement yesterday, said that management fee is an important source to ensure the federation to survive operate and develop. And the federation also explained that 50,000 yuan of management fee is proper, while it isn’t a hidden industry rule.

According to CCTV, the donation contributed by Suntech Company last year, valued 17 million yuan, has been sold and the money is missing.
