Israel’s ISIL Threatens Russia and China

The scourge known as the «Islamic» State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) and the Islamic State (IS), has long been in the making: in the think tanks and military planning offices of Israel. The plan to have a group like ISIL rend apart the Arab nation-states of the Middle East is enshrined in two Israeli policies: «A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties» written in 1982 by former Israeli Foreign Ministry official Oded Yinon and «A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm», largely written American neo-conservative war hawk Richard Perle for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and issued in 1996. The latter report included contributions from Perle’s fellow Israeli agents-of-influence who have migrated in and out of sensitive United States government positions: Douglas Feith and David and Meyrav Wurmser.

Bombing & Fighting ISIL in Iraq & Syria: Smokescreen for Another US War in ME

The March to War: Fighting ISIL is a Smokescreen for US Mobilization against Syria, Iran The ISIL or IS threat is a smokescreen. The strength of the ISIL has deliberately been inflated to get public support for the Pentagon and to justify the illegal bombing of Syria. It has also been used to justify the mobilization of what is looking more and more like a large-scale US-led military buildup in the Middle East. The firepower and military assets being committed go beyond what is needed for merely fighting the ISIL death squads. While the US has assured its citizens and the world that troops will not be sent on the ground, this is very unlikely. In the first instance, it is unlikely because boots on the ground are needed to monitor and select targets. Moreover, Washington sees the campaign against the ISIL fighters as something that will take years.

The US and Global Wars: Empire or Vampire?

To the growing army of critics of US military intervention, who also reject the mendacious claims by American officials and their apologists of ‘world leadership’, Washington is engaged in ‘empire-building”. But the notion that the…

Slaying of Journalists and ISIS “Made in America”: Using ISIS to Justify Another US MILITARY INTERVENTION in Syria

Russian journalist Andrey Stenin, missing for a month in Ukraine, has been confirmed dead. He was part of a convoy of refugees fleeing the fighting in Ukraine’s eastern region when he came under artillery fire. The vehicle he was in, along with several others, was destroyed, the occupants killed, and the evidence covered up. Officers representing the regime in Kiev had apparently rifled through the destroyed vehicles beforehand, collecting evidence and looting belongings. It is even suggested by Russian sources that the regime in Kiev attempted to use Stenin as a bargaining chip during negotiations, giving the illusion the missing journalist was still alive. Killed by NATO-backed Neo-Nazi extremists who seized power in Kiev during the US-EU engineered so-called “Euromaidan,” the subsequent civilian and journalist deaths are nothing less than provocative crimes.

Energy Ballet: Iran, Russia, Pipelineistan

A fascinating nuclear/energy ballet involving Iran, Russia, the US and the EU is bound to determine much of what happens next in the new great game in Eurasia. Let’s start with what’s going on with the Iranian nuclear dossier. Iranian Foreign Ministry legal adviser Jamshid Momtaz has been forced to clarify that the interim nuclear deal signed by Iran and the P-5+1 nations on November 2013 is not an international treaty – yet. As we stand, the gap between the US, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany on one side, and Iran on the other side, remains very wide. Essentially, the gap that really matters is between Washington and Tehran. And that, unfortunately, translates as a few more months for the vast sabotage brigade – from US neo-cons and assorted warmongers to Israel and the House of Saud – to force the deal to collapse. One of Washington’s sabotage mantras is “breakout capability”; a dodgy concept which boils down to total centrifuge capacity/capability to produce enough enriched uranium for a single nuclear bomb. This implies an arbitrary limit on Iran’s capacity to enrich uranium.

US Dollar Hegemony, Oil-Gas: Russia, Europe, Iran, Syria, Ukraine & BRICS

The Latest in the New Cold War: My Money’s on Putin Here’s an excerpt: “To stop the war, you need to terminate its driving forces. At this stage, the war unfolds mainly in the planes of economic, public relations and politics. All the power of US economic superiority is based on the financial pyramid of debt, and this has gone long beyond sustainability. Its major lenders are collapsing enough to deprive the US market of accumulated US dollars and Treasury bonds. Of course, the collapse of the US financial system will cause serious losses to all holders of US currency and securities. But first, these losses for Russia, Europe and China will be less than the losses caused by American geopolitics unleashing another world war. Secondly, the sooner the exit from the financial obligations of this American pyramid, the less will be the losses. Third, the collapse of the dollar Ponzi scheme gives an opportunity, finally, to reform the global financial system on the basis of equity and mutual benefit.” Washington thinks “modern warfare” involves covert support for proxy armies comprised of Neo Nazis and Islamic extremists. Moscow thinks modern warfare means undermining the enemy’s ability to wage war through sustained attacks on it’s currency, its institutions, its bond market, and its ability to convince its allies that it is a responsible steward of the global economic system. I’ll put my money on Russia.
