According to reports, the special pests damaged the grassland mainly in some regions. For example, diorhabdarybakowiWeise mainly in Wuhai and Alashan, whild generations of loxostege sticticalis linne mainly concentrated in Hinggan League, Xilin Gol League, Hohhot and Ordos.
Affected by recent rainfall, the damaged grassland by locust in Inner Mongolia expanded more.
To eliminate the pests, the local governments of Inner Mongolia have taking positive response. Among them, Hulunbeier, Chifeng, Xilin Gol League, Ulanqab, Baotou and Bayan Nur use aircraft spraying control, and other governments take other measures.
Up to now, 21,280,000 Mu has been controlled the pests.
