Xi made the remarks on Tuesday during a meeting with a delegation of the Party of European Socialists at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The delegation was led by Nyrup Rasmussen, the party’s president.
Rasmussen congratulated China on the achievements it has made under the leadership of the CPC.
Rasmussen said he and his delegates have learned a great deal about the CPC’s rule and China’s development during their visit. He expressed his hope for more exchanges and cooperation between his party and the CPC.
Xi, who is also China’s vice president, called for more political trust, reciprocal cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and Europe.
