Who Believes America? (Kitabat, Iraq)

By Abdul-Jabbar Jubouri

America is a superpower built on the skulls of American Indians; this is not a secret or an insult, but a historical fact, known throughout the world. This is thus how it became a “superpower” — yes, on the skulls of the poor Indians, the natives of the American continent. As to the question: Who are the Americans? No one denies what their origin is. They are, most probably, a body of heterogeneous peoples of the earth who were ejected by their peoples and fled to the continent of America under several descriptions — thief, killer, junkie, adulterer — after being turned out from their families and others like these. It is not surprising that U.S. administrations have triggered wars, colonized other peoples for more than two centuries and killed millions of people in the most heinous and the sleaziest crimes; World Wars I and II, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and others all show evidence of the crimes perpetrated by America, causing the death of safe peoples, loving peace, freedom and independence.

The U.S. was established on a “lie” no one can believe — they claimed to be the discoverers of the American continent, usurped it and killed its indigenous people, consisting of Amerindians who could be numbered in millions — and so do the Americans to justify launching wars in the world, in satanic and criminal manners aiming at imposing hegemony and domination over the world. It was not so long ago that Bush, the liar, said that the 21st century is an “undisputed American century”* and that America is the master of the world in this century and its leader toward change, and imposed American democracy on the peoples of the world under the trivial banner of “globalization.”

Look at what happened in Afghanistan, where the United States claimed to have intervened to liberate it from the Soviet communists and supported Islamic extremists represented by bin Laden; after the communists were defeated there, it did a complete flip on their former allies, the Islamists. They fight them now under the pretext of democracy and the war on terrorism, saying Afghanistan has become the axis of evil thanks to the Taliban and al-Qaida. Then came the ruin of Iraq; the lie of weapons of mass destruction and their relationship with al-Qaida was spread, which proved false. The Bush administration, the offender, announced itself that Iraq was free of such weapons, after it reduced Iraq to total destruction, ruin, murder, gratuitous death and the spread of corruption, sectarianism and drugs, and then ignited more chaos in Arab countries which continue to face an unknown fate, such as Yemen, Libya, Syria, Bahrain, Kuwait, Somalia and other Arab countries. It thus carries out the project of Bernard Lewis in the dismantling and disruption of Arab and Islamic countries.

So, how can the world believe America while it sees with its own eyes the crimes its war machine, its aircraft, missiles and crowds of soldiers are perpetrating, killing and destroying and ruining the world to say that it brings freedom and democracy to the peoples and rid them of their rulers, tyrants and dictators? America has completely failed in imposing its bad model of democracy in spite of all the devastation, destruction and death it provoked in Arab and Islamic countries, and got unmasked to the world through the lies its leaders, thirsty for the blood of the peoples living and opposing its colonial policy, keep on telling. Therefore, no one believes America any longer, all over the world, due to the repetitive times it lied to the world and the crimes it perpetrated against the peoples and nations… I am confident that the U.S. policy is going into decline, falling into the abyss that it has chosen for itself, so that its weak spots get revealed to the world, as a country ruled by cowboys remote from civilization and steeped in the illusion of power. The United States, with its failure and empty arrogance, declines toward the slope. It is making its inevitable way toward the doubtful abyss; the act of killing bin Laden, the ill-treatment of his corpse and throwing it into the sea show evidence of the fiasco and fall in the muddy waters of international terrorism, since it proved to be a state of crime which does not know what urbanization, civilization and history mean. I wonder who will believe America anymore — rather, many will, but only the naive….
